As the home city of The Vietnam Hostel, Da Nang has a tropical monsoon climate, typically high and rather invariable temperature. There are two seasons annually: rainy season lasting from August to December and dry season from January to July.
From January to July: This is the most suitable time of the year for traveling to Danang. During the day, the sun blazes; so bring a sunscreen jacket and lotion. In the evening, t-shirt and shorts are highly recommended for flexibility.
From August to December: Be prepared with a raincoat or umbrella for sudden rain. Also, it is cool and chilly during November and December, a coat is necessary to protect your body. However, if you are a flash packer who don't want to be at crowded places, this time of the year is perfect for you.
